Nashville has always held a sweet spot for Kings of Leon, the mega-rock band born and raised in Music City. Despite achieving massive commercial success and earning fans around the world, the family band made up of three brothers and a cousin has not forgotten their roots.
In fact, their hometown practically stars in the new video for “Temple.”
Mixed in with an arena-ready performance from the band is a candid tour of their city’s iconic spots — like the Ryman Auditorium, the pedestrian bridge across the Cumberland River and, of course, Lower Broadway in all its neon-lit, no-cover, country music glory.
It’s all shot on an old Super 8 film camera and even captures the guys spending some daddy time with the newest members of the Followill clan.
