Steep Canyon Rangers “Stand and Deliver” in CMT Studio

After a much-deserved winter break, Steep Canyon Rangers rolled back through Nashville in January for a show at Music City Roots. Lucky for us, they arrived in town early to tape this video for “Stand and Deliver.” The guys all insisted they were a little rusty from the time off, but we couldn’t tell. Taking a cue from the song title, they pretty much nailed it the first time through.

The Grammy-winning band’s newest album is Tell the Ones I Love, which was produced by Larry Campbell and recorded in the late Levon Helm’s studio in Woodstock, N.Y. Of course, the CMT studio in downtown Nashville is a whole different scene, yet the five musicians kept their unmistakable energy intact.
