Striking Matches Ignite South by Southwest

New duo Striking Matches turned up for a MTV/VH1/CMT-sponsored party Tuesday night (March 12) at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, kicking off the massive festival’s first night of music. The Nashville-based twosome of Sarah Zimmerman and Justin Davis met while attending Belmont University, finding common ground in influences like Jerry Reed, Patsy Cline and John Mayer. They recently landed their romantic song “When the Right One Comes Along” on the ABC drama Nashville, but the sassy “Miss Me More” is the right kind of track for SXSW. Check them both out with these live performance videos from the festival.
