The Dirty Guv’nahs Clean Up Nicely on “Fairlane”

The Dirty Guv’nahs may have a brash sounding name, but their new video for “Fairlane” uncovers a roots rock group with a sensitive side. Natives of Knoxville, Tenn., the six-piece band layer warm and fuzzy guitar riffs underneath James Trimble’s smoky vocals, leaving just enough space for the handsome singer to stand out. That’s appropriate, though, since “Fairlane” is a romantic tune all about falling madly in love. They’ve recently landed songs on TV shows like Criminal Minds and Nashville, but you might just fall madly in love with this silky smooth track. Check out the world premiere of “Fairlane.”
